The week in Lima has flown by. Now it's time to relax a little before moving on to Cuzco and Puerto Maldonado. Our friends Luis and Ileana Ivandic have graciously offered to host a fabulous party at the beautiful residence of Pedro-Pablo and Nancy Kuczynski. To thank our hosts for their great generosity the faculty played Piazzolla, followed by two chamber groups composed of students and faculty.
Then the band turned up the volume and got everybody on the dance floor. Peruvians and Dominicans were happy to teach their American friends the moves of salsa and merengue. Who cares that they don't speak the same language. When there is music such details don't matter!
